d20 Modern Conversion: Physical Attribute Basic Classes

This week, we're kicking off the d20 Modern conversion with three new classes for D&D 5th Edition: the strong hero, the fast hero, and the tough hero.

Hey all, time to get down to the d20 Modern conversion! These classes are still in a draft stage, but I'm fairly sure they could be used without any major balance issues as they are now.

A lot of the abilities are taken from 5th Edition classes and subclasses, and these classes are designed more as a replacement for the original classes than a supplement. You might notice the distinct lack of Extra Attack in these classes. With the introduction of firearms in a modern setting, the power of Extra Attack is significantly increased, and it has to have a few more limitations to keep balance, and these limitations are usually a bit too specific to include in the basic classes.

The document on GM Binder: Physical Attribute Basic Classes

I'm using GM Binder rather than Homebrewery for this homebrew. While I think generally Homebrewery is a smidge easier to use, GM Binder offers much more customisation. The document uses the wonderful Modern theme by u/thefinalslowdance, which I think looks just incredible.

I managed to get a lot of work on the conversion done this past week, and have accumulated up a decent buffer of content, so you can expect regular updates for a few weeks at least. In fact, the buffer is so significant I'm considering the possibility of increasing post rate at some point!

Next week: drafts of the mental attribute basic classes! See you then!
