Merry Christmas! What the heck are you doing reading some nerd's blog? I was originally planning to release the whole map at once, probably with some additional encounter guidance. But then I realised that would mean several hours of map drawing and writing on Christmas Eve, and honestly I just can't be arsed.

In this post, I will be detailing any custom statblocks necessary for this adventure, in addition to any and all magic items in the adventure that need more detail to be run in D&D than is provided in the book.

This is my second post looking at the structure of the dungeon presented in "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain", and how this structure fits into a D&D adventure. In this post, I look at the sections of the dungeon that come after the underground river, comprising the area leading into the maze, the maze itself, and the final boss area in the dungeon

Alright, now with all the encounters in the dungeon looked at, I'll start looking at the other aspects of the dungeon. In this post, I will be taking a look at the structure of the dungeon as a whole.

This batch of encounters covers the final section of the dungeon, including the Maze of Zagor! As well as just looking at encounters in this post, I've also looked a bit at how the maze is run in the book, and running mazes in D&D in general.

This section covers some pretty in-depth encounters, all far more interesting and with many more options than the simple goblins in the start of the dungeon. I guess what I'm trying to say is prepare for lots and lots of words. I as originally planning to finish the encounters in this post, but when I got to writing they were just so much bigger than I expected, so I've split off the Maze of Zagor and the final boss into a separate post.

Right, the final batch of encounters for the pre-river area. This section has some potentially interesting combat encounters, and a minor social encounter too.
